Clay Bloom Kettle
Carrying forward India’s long tradition of functional pottery, this ceramic teapot form is shaped through a contemporary, universal design language. The gently sloped body and balanced proportions draw from everyday rural vessels once made for shared moments and slow rituals, now reimagined as a quiet sculptural presence. Hand-painted floral motifs in deep indigo drift across the surface like memories, shaped by a painterly sensibility where clay becomes both canvas and form. Crafted in stoneware and wood-fired, the surface is transformed by flame, ash, and atmosphere, creating soft flashes, natural variations, and a depth that cannot be replicated. Designed for use as a functional teapot or as a contemplative object, the form brings warmth, tactility, and stillness into contemporary spaces—resting gently between craft, art, and everyday living.
