Mossground Kettle
A sculptural ceramic teapot form emerging from India’s long lineage of utilitarian pottery, reimagined through a contemporary, universal design language. The rounded body and arched handle echo everyday rural vessels once shaped for shared moments, warmth, and slow rituals, now transformed into a quiet object of presence. A layered, earthy surface—marked by soft greens, deep browns, and natural tonal shifts—reflects a painterly sensibility where clay becomes both medium and memory. Crafted in stoneware and shaped slowly by hand, the form is brought to life through high-temperature firing, allowing fire, ash, and time to leave their own subtle marks. Designed for use as a functional teapot or as a sculptural centerpiece, the piece brings warmth, tactility, and contemplative stillness into contemporary spaces—positioned gently between craft, art, and everyday ritual.
