Moonmark Teapot

Formed within a studio practice shaped by decades of wood firing, teaching, and sustained making in India, this ceramic teapot reflects an approach where function, surface, and use are developed through experience rather than ornament. The rounded body and upright bamboo-wrapped handle are designed for balance and steady pouring, allowing the teapot to feel secure and purposeful in daily use. A soft white surface is animated by a hand-applied blue circular motif, emerging through natural glazing and long firings where kiln atmosphere gently influences colour and depth. Crafted in stoneware and fired patiently, the teapot carries subtle variation that reveals the rhythm of repeated making and careful kiln control.
